A little about us: I'm Brenda, the WAHM behind Flutterby Designs, and as much as I love my small business clients, sometimes we just like to do things a bit more off the beaten track - here we go!

A little about what's coming: Since this site is my place for fun, you just never know what you will find! We will offer all our standard fare; embroidery, transfers, hand crafting, hemp jewelry, sewing and herbal products. You might also find some of our business items tailored to the WAHM world instead: custom digitizing, shipping products, printing and the like.
A little about our Embroidery: Our commercial machines are Melco AMAYA 16 needle machines.  They are affectionately dubbed 'Mary' and Maya' (although when they give us fits, sometimes they are called far worse *grin*) We use professional finishing, including backings and toppings chosen to match the type of materials we are working on. We own over 13,000 stock designs and also do in-house digitizing on Summit Design Shop Pro software. Currently we have around 120 thread colors to choose from and a true type converter that allows us to do lettering in around 800 different fonts.

A little about our Transfers: Heat transfers are produced here using a full color inkjet printer on commercial grade transfer paper, and then applied with a Geoknight transfer press. We create designs in-house, using clipart, drawings, photos, fonts or mouse drawn graphics depending on what we are wanting to create. By their nature, transfers are never as durable as true screenprinting, but we have been impressed by how well these hold up to washing and wearing.

A little about our Screen Printing: We enjoy creating single color and occasional multi color designs, using professional grade, non-toxic, permanently heat set inks, hand screened here in our little shop!  They leave a nice soft hand on most materials and will last through the toughest kid testing and washing!
